Frequent flights into Ferihegy Airport, getting to Budapest is no trouble. The airport is less than 15 miles from the city centre. Not part of the Euro just yet, the currency is the Forint. Expect to pay about £2.80 for a bottle of wine and 60 pence for a half litre of beer.
